Black Water Grill

Blackwater Grill is absolutely worth the visit. The food alone makes it a 5-star experience. The chicken tenders are unreal — they use a Captain Crunch batter that gives them the perfect sweet crunch on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. Easily some of the best tenders I’ve had anywhere. The buffalo chicken salad was also outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned with just the right amount of heat. Service was quick and efficient, more business-like and straightforward without a lot of personality, but everything came out fast and exactly as ordered. The ambience was comfortable and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a solid meal. If you’re going for the food, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely coming back.

After years away, some glowing recent reviews lured us back to Blackwater. We popped in early on a Saturday (around 4 pm) and kicked things off with the fried calamari. It’s an impressively generous portion for an appetizer—the plate could easily feed three or four. The batter was a touch on the thick side for my taste, though my husband loved it. The real star was the dipping sauce; it was fantastic and we both wished there had been a bit more of it. For mains, I went with the Southwest salad topped with grilled shrimp—huge, fresh, and completely satisfying. My husband ordered the BWG burger and declared it excellent: perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere remains cozy and welcoming, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The food was FANTASTIC. Server was wonderful, sorry thatnI didn't get her name, because she told me exactly how to reheat my leftovers, which I would have ruined if not for her!!! Res was at 7: 15 for restraint, but was able to sit in bar area! Bravo BWG!!!

I had dinner with 5 friends.Everything was excellent. Calamari, salsa with chips, chickenfingers and pretzel appetizers were wonderful. All with delicious sauces. I had the salmon bowl which was excellent. The others had Fish and chips, their signature pasta, dish, and burgers. Everything was exceptional, including the drinks. I’ve never had a bad experience. Absolutely love the Blackwater Grill.❤️

Took my family here and we all loved it. Inviting atmosphere, fantastic food, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our waitress for the night was also the bartender. She was fantastic. Someone needs to give her a raise ASAP!
