Black Swan Inn

We had a great stay in the Arthur Brown suite. The breakfast was delicious, the building and room are both lovely, and the service was top notch. The romantic package was worth every pretty, my fiance loved it. This was a great choice, you will not regret it!

The inn is delightful. The furnishings charming. The owners were friendly and attentive. They ensured my stay was comfortable in every way. They listened to my need for easy access. I was in the carriage house. A spacious and comfortable suite.

We stayed here for two nights over Columbus Day weekend for our son's wedding, which was at nearby Tarbin Gardens. The Black Swan has all the charm and atmosphere you'd want in a New England Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in the Doc Robinson room, a large suite on the third floor with king bed, double bed and ensuite bathroom. Clean and very nice. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well-kept, and it's an easy stroll over to the adjacent Riverfront Park. |We also took advantage of the Inn's event services, hosting a welcome reception the night before the wedding for guests staying in the area. Everyone loved the atmosphere and took advantage of the indoor dining area and outdoor porches to mingle. Have driven by this location for years. Finally got the opportunity to stay. We stayed in the carriage house as it was pet friendly and we had a dog. It was great. Room was cozy and comfortable. The main house is beautiful and we got a tour upon arrival. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh coffee fresh muffins and full breakfast including French toast made with croissants. A wonderful stay. We also enjoyed the wrap around porch to sit and relax. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast. There is also a huge grassy area out back an a wonderful walking path along the river and park below.

Wonderful little B&B in the heart of New Hampshire. Centrally located and well appointed. The rooms are lovely, Susan is a tremendous inn keeper and fabulous cook. Trish and John are gracious hosts. The carriage house is charming and suitable for small pets.
