My husband and I stopped by on our way out of town on our anniversary. When my husband inquired about sugar free options, an older gentleman behind the counter boasted they were a "full sugar and gluten establishment" and then laughed. I quietly finished my order and we left. Sir, my husband has cancer and for your information, sugar feeds cancer. Maybe you should consider re-wording your responses or just carrying a couple sugar free flavors for those who medically cannot have it. You should never assume you know someone's circumstance.
My second visit to Black Squirrel Bakery and they good the first time, but WOW! Cinnamon rolls were even better. Keep up the great tasty work.
We stopped here while in town and got one of everything. The cinnamon rolls, egg muffins, and sticky buns were our favorite and they were amazing. If you are going through hillman, stop and grab something because you will NOT be disappointed.
This place was so cute. The bakery items and coffee were delicious, and everyone was so nice. I definitely recommend stopping by if you have the chance.
Such a cute and delicious option in one of our favorite towns in Michigan! Our family is a big fan!
