Black Magic Mexican

This place is amazing! I have eaten at many many vegan restaurants all over the world and this place might be my new favorite. Everything on the menu looked incredible and the owner/chef told me later that everything is made from scratch, including their mock meats! He said he uses oyster mushrooms and all the sauces and cheeses are house made. Everything there is vegan of course! They were super friendly and the place itself has a cool vibe and decor. It is also the only vegan place in this area. I am traveling for work and it was so great to finish the day eating here. Please come and bring all of your non-vegan friends and family so they can experience how amazing being vegan can be!

The food was delicious but I wish the inside was more welcoming. Amazing flavor, I can’t handle a ton of heat but still like a little kick and they hit that sweet spot. The staff was kind but didn’t interact with me at all until I asked for help (they have a tablet ordering system). We sat outside because they have a great little patio, which is also dog friendly! Inside felt a bit too dark to me. I love a dark aesthetic but I want to be able to see my food, red lighting dulls veggies beautiful vibrancy! Not sure if the mural in the restroom was already there when they moved in but it would be really cool to have that artist do something in the main restaurant as well :)

I am BLOWN AWAY! The food was incredible and I never missed animal products for a second! I am not vegan, but I try to avoid dairy and eat plant based as much as possible. The taco salad with carne asada was unbelievable; I’m shocked that I finished the whole thing. Worth every penny and I cannot wait to something else!

The best vegan food I’ve ever had and honestly the best Mexican food too! Very cool people and the seating area has such a cool vibe. This spot isn’t hidden, but it’s definitely a gem you can’t miss if in the area. Everything is house-made with so much care and detail. Huge respect to the team for what they’re doing!

We’re not vegan and yet this was the BEST Mexican we’ve ever had. You would never know the queso and chorizo were vegan. The owner was describing the ingredients in his dishes and everything is packed with fiber and protein. Really wish they could open another location closer to where we live. Their food is incredible. So impressed!
