Black Gold Barbeque

Wow, what a wonderful BBQ restaurant in Buna, Texas. The moist brisket was filled with flavor from the first bite to the last one. Sides were on spot, smoky Pinto Beans and tasty Potato Salad. BBQ sauce was sweet, just enough vinegar pepper for a great add on to the meat. Its a must stop if you are near Southeast Texas for sure, you will not be disappointed!!

Phenomenal BBQ joint. I was really impressed with the brisket grilled cheese. It was one of the best bites I’ve ever had. Brisket itself was good. Turkey was excellent. Yeast rolls and Corn Bread was a great touch. Only complaint is that the line doesn’t back up at the meat cutter it backs up at the register. My food could have been hotter due to the back up between the cutter and the register. I can’t wait to come back and try some of the non-bbq items.

Brisket fries. Really good : fries were crispy and turkey was so moist & tasty, Mac n cheese creamy & Delicious. Tried friends food.chill atmosphere and nice friendly staff. Teas was perfectly sweet. Not syrup and not unsweetened. Last but not least....The sheet cake: Made me do scene from ratatouille ego bit into the ratatouille and went back to child hood.. My german grandmother's chocolate cake, I havent had in so long and I could taste every homemade ingredient. That was my favorite because of nostalgia. And my friend had banana pudding. He said was amazing. And we were both BIG BACKS TODAY 😀 Double smash burger and fries are the shiznit... always made fresh. Really good. I will be back ♡♡

The brisket had an incredible flavor and was fall-apart tender. Mac & cheese was superb. Prices are a little high.

Worlds best BBQ! if you don't care for BBQ the Fried Fish and the Chicken Fried Steaks are phenomenal! Oh, and don't forget to get a Texas Twinkie! This place is well worth the drive!
