I gave them a 3 on service, but it really depends on who you get. If the owner's daughter is serving - 1. If the rest of the staff is serving - 4or5. Their food is ok. Some dishes are better than others like many places, but overall, it's mediocre. They keep the inside clean and the waitresses pick the song selections. Which makes for some interesting choices for a diner. I know they call themselves a restaurant, but they're really more like a diner. They do not seem to care about their customer's well being. This past snow fall on a Saturday into Sunday, they never cleared the parking lot. What makes it worse is they are closed on Monday so they had a perfect opportunity to have it cleared. NOPE! This was mine and my husband's first time at this establishment and hands down I have to say it has been the best one we've been to so far. Let me start with how delicious the coffee was! I am very particular about my coffee and I've had some horrible restaurant/diner coffee but this one was utterly delicious! I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was delightfully toasted not the least bit soggy and not even close to being burnt and still nice and warm. After that I got the French toast tower that came topped with fresh strawberries and bananas and sprinkled with powdered sugar... Mmmmmmm yum! The orange juice was nice and cold! My husband ordered the meat lover's omelet with home fries and in his words, "BEST OMELET HE'S EATEN AT ANY RESTAURANT!" he also ordered a raspberry iced

Black Diamond in Minotola, NJ, is a hidden gem! The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that never disappoint. The service is friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Whether it’s their pizza, wings, or sandwiches, everything is top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for great eats!

Visited while in town, a hidden Jewel. I had surf and turf, the best filet mignon I ever had ,very juicy and accompanied with a fabulous stuffed zucchini. The chicken franchese was spectacular, not to forget to mention the best garlic bread I ever had. Definitely will drive again from NY to dine here. The customer service outstanding the owner and her staff very attentive and courteous. Can't wait to come for breakfast here, it was highly recommended. Thank you and come try it, no disappointments.

The service can be great if you don't end up with the owner's daughter. The only worse than her incompetence is her attitude. Most of their food is mediocre. Always clean and well kept.
