Black Diamond

We arrived around lunch time on a Tuesday. It was a quiet, little restaurant. Pleasant. I was touched that they switched to Christian music after we walked in. (We were the only guests there.) They had a little bowl of circus peanuts and a little bowl of candy & mints on each table. Ordered an Enchilada & a Desayuno (breakfast) meal. When we were almost finished, the chef himself came out to check if we had enjoyed our meal. 👍🏼 I really liked their salsa! They noticed & asked if I wanted more without me having to do any prompting. 👌🏼 I would agree with the other reviews, this is an authentic Nicaraguan restaurant.

We came here looking for lunch and there was not a single employee anywhere to be found. As someone who enjoys a good "hole in the wall" vibe, I figured we'd just sit down and wait for a bit as I assumed someone was just in the back. We waited a long time and no one ever came out. We were there so long we had time to look up somewhere else to go and still no sign of a single person. The food may be good but we have no idea as we were never given any opportunity to find out.

Food is great, place is great. Everything tastes fresh. Finished my whole plate lmaoo

Great food and big portions. Having Christian music like is not the place for it. Would prefer instrumental instead of the owner doesn't like popular music.

Absolutely amazing family with amazing food.
