We had a nice evening overall, but there were a few things that really stood out and should be addressed. My husband ordered a Buffalo Trace bourbon, and instead of letting us know it was unavailable, the waiter brought out Angel’s Envy—which is $3 more—without asking if that substitution was okay. Transparency about inventory is important, and we would have appreciated being told before anything was poured. The food itself had some highs and lows. - Steak: Absolutely delicious. - Wedge Salad: It was missing the balsamic drizzle, and the bacon didn’t taste candied as described. I also would’ve preferred the tomatoes cut the same way as the cucumbers so the veggies felt consistent. - Brussels Sprouts: Fine, but nothing special. - Mexican Corn: Very good. My wife and I visited this afternoon for our first time to celebrate our birthdays. I had heard for years nothing but good things about this place and we weren’t let down. From the service, atmosphere and food, everything was perfect! We will definitely be back!

UPDATE 2/15/26…This afternoon we dined at Black and Blue again. We were fortunate to be seated with Benjamin! Benjamin provided exceptional service…15 out of 10 stars. He was prompt and his timing was perfectly spaced when checking on us. Benjamin has a great personality. His disposition is perfect for the hospitality industry and Black and Blue. Thanks Benjamin for making our dining experience enjoyable! We will definitely request Benjamin when we dine again. For my birthday surprise, we dined at Black & Blue. Our server Orrin was very professional and patient with our party of 6. He was very knowledgeable and provided answers to our many questions. We celebrated my birthday here with my wife and tried several items off the menu — everything was really good. The restaurant can get a bit loud depending on where you’re seated, but the service was excellent and really made the experience. I was a little surprised to see a charge for water, but nonetheless, we had a great time overall and would definitely recommend it.

So a group of us met up for dinner at Black and Blue Steak and Crab. We all started to congregate around the bar they have a good selection of drinks. I myself had the Moscow mule to start my night. We were seated in a private room at a large table. Was pretty nice. Normally don't give out the server's name but a shout out to Chris. He did an excellent job with introducing himself and the restaurant, the whole team did a great job. Started with two types of bread. One was a garlic bread style. The other was like a pretzel bread roll you ordered a lot of appetizers, Wagu meatballs, fried calamari, beef tartare and lobster & crab fondue accompanied with some white wine.
