Black Bear Diner Torrance

First time visiting this restaurant. I drive past it daily and there's always people going in/out. They have a private parking lot with plenty of parking. The restaurant has a very comfy feel to it. Like a small town dinner...in a good way. The staff treats you like family. The restaurant has awesome decoration with plenty of seating. We were quickly seated and our ordered taken. The menu has lots of yummy options. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a place that is going to take you for a blast in the past, this is a place for you. The aesthetic is actually very woodsy. They have a mascot, it’s a black bear. They have a little corner where they sell all these cute black teddy bears in different styles. It’s actually adorable and some other little things. The food it’s filling and heavy. The flavor is on point if you’re looking for diner food, which is American. I felt like I traveled back in time. It reminded me of diners I had visited as a child. Another thing I like is that they source their coffee from Nicaragua and in turn they donate to that country to help build schools and other things it’s really cool. This is a GREAT place for families. I took my Mom to Black Bear and she loved it. She is already making plans to return for the all you can eat fish dinner. 🤣 our server forgot about us but once we reminded her she was on it.
