This Family cafe is beyond great! Very short wait to be seated (8 people). Our Waitress was very efficient and polite. Our drinks never went empty, our food was prepared quickly and was nothing short of delicious. Competitive pricing and larger portions. This place is a definite go to place when visiting the area, and for locals.

I have been coming to Black Bear Diner for a long time, and every visit reinforces why it is one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently excellent, comforting, and full of flavor. Every plate comes out hot, generous, and satisfying, and it always hits the spot whether I am craving breakfast classics or a hearty meal later in the day. The quality stays consistent, and it shows real care in how the food is prepared and served. What truly sets this location apart is the service. On my most recent visit, I had a genuinely kind conversation with one of the hosts whose name started with an N I believe but I do not remember her full name, but her warmth and attentiveness stood out right away. She took the time to check in, made me feel welcomed, and treated me like a regular who mattered.

We had dinner at Black Bear Diner, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. My husband ordered the meatloaf dinner with chili, and I had the turkey dinner with chicken soup. The meatloaf was mostly bread, with that frozen TV‑dinner flavor. The beef gravy tasted straight from a can. The only thing that was even halfway decent was the cornbread muffin. My turkey dinner wasn’t any better. The gravy tasted canned, the mashed potatoes were bland, and the cranberry sauce came in a tiny plastic sample cup — honestly, Costco gives better samples. The texture was jelly‑like and clearly straight from a can. The place was nearly empty on a Friday night, and the dining room had a noticeable cigarette or mildew smell, which didn’t help the experience. The only positive was our waitress — she

I love coming to this BB every week or every other week. And the majority of my visits, I’ve had Jaay, as a waitress and she is absolutely amazing! A beautiful heart with a kind sweet spirit. Incredibly patient and super helpful and professional as well. I love all the waiters and waitresses there, they have all been so kind to me and the ppl I bring, but Jaay, definitely breaks the mold with her sweet disposition and demeanor. 😊🤗❤️

My family and I come often and the food is amazing, the service is amazing, and the pricing is affordable. All the servers are amazing especially, Alyssa. She is very attentive, you don't have to ask her for anything, she's always on top of it, she's super nice, and always making sure were doing good ! Thank you for the great experience.
