BKK THAI STREET FOOD

I have been wanting to try BKK FOOD TRUCK for quite some time. Since it has been a dismal rainy day -I decided to give it a try. I ordered an appetizer as well as 3 main course dishes since there was 3 of us here for dinner. I ordered Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce. I must say I've been searching for the texture and flavor of the same dish that I ordered in Houston a few years ago. I've ordered it numerous times but never found one that duplicated what I remember as so very tasty. Well-this time I hit the jackpot!!! My go to place when I’m craving Thai food. I’ve been coming here for the past 2 years and food is consistently good! Price is good for the portion. I think they’re pretty generous with the amount of shrimp they put in the food. I just wish that a bit more selection, papaya salad and fresh spring rolls would be amazing.

I really didn't know what to expect from a food truck as they can be all over the place sometimes. But the food wasnt bad. I ordered the chicken phad see-eew spicy. It's not the best I ever had, but it was good for a quick meal during your break. You should know that if you're planning to eat on-site, there is this outdoor seating area for you or you can eat in your car.

I've only ever ordered from BKK through Doordash and Uber, so I can't leave a review about the service or atmosphere. What I can say is that my husband and I love the food. Everything is flavorful and the serving portions are great. I especially love the Tom Yum with tofu. It's absolutely fantastic!

I could not decide if I should order the pad kee mao, pad thai or red curry, and so glad decided to order all 3 for "meal prep". It has been a struggle finding legit, delcious thai food since moving back, and this place is wonderful!! Portions are nice for price, owners are kind, and dinner/ lunch can also be yours in about 20 minutes.
