Bistro Mediterranean Tapas Bar

We were so hungry when we sat down to eat and I completely forgot to take photos of our meals! I got a seafood risotto and my the scallops. Both were good, however I liked his more than mine so we ended up switching dishes. He said that he enjoyed both. The ambiance was nice with the private patio out front and inside there was a band playing. We happened upon this place on a last minute search for food while in the area and were not disappointed.

The atmosphere was so relaxing and chill, the food I had was amazing and so flavorful. My server could of gave better service but the one who brought out the food to the table gave us above and beyond service with such TLC! He made my day even more special!

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and have finally decided to write a review. The food is outstanding (I am getting very close to sampling the entire menu). The atmosphere is a truly incredible mix of fine dining without being pretentious. Every person who works there is friendly and upbeat. I never feel rushed at this restaurant. I never feel taken advantage of at this restaurant. I always feel like I get my moneys worth at this restaurant. There is an adorable outside seating area against Main Street that is out of view from the road (behind a moderate height brick wall). The bar is welcoming and the main dining area is luxurious as well. I cannot say enough vibrant things about this place. Give it a shot. This is truly a gem in East Haven. Delicious quality and creative dishes, equivalent to high end cruise fare. Reasonable prices; friendly attentive service. Wish we lived closer. I enjoyed the generous seafood stew, husband a seafood pasta dish, and cousin roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, veggies. Chilean Chardonnay smooth!

Love this place! Apps are great and delicious dessert! I always have to get the brussel sprout salad with fried fontina cheese underneath whenever I come here, then my husband and I shared the delicious garlic shrimp, croquettes and eggplant Napoleon!
