We were driving home to Florida from West Virginia on Valentine’s Day. Once we hit I-95 I searched for a nice dinner spot for me and hubby. This one came up along with a few others. We chose Bistro 221 and so happy we did. From start to finish it was amazing. We were kindly greeted and seated promptly. We told him of our long travels on Valentine Day and had choose them to have our dinner. He let us know of the Valentine special. We were then greeted by our server Katie who was amazing and pleasant throughout the entire time. Filet minion (be’arnaise sauce) fingerling potatoes, mixed veggies and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Also a “love letter” martini ❤️It was ALL delicious, perfectly cooked and totally worth the stop. I’m sure that’s not always available but it’s a must stop for a gr

This place is an absolutely shining star in the middle of a quaint little town. We were traveling through and ran into some terrible weather. Wife and I were both hungry, so in true foodie fashion decided to check what local fair was available. We were so happy to have found this beautiful spot, the decor was comfortable and warm, and we love the esthetics of exposed brick walls. The food was exceptional and our server (Courtney) was attentive, kind, and smiled throughout our dining experience, she was wonderful. Now on to the DRINKS, the bartender (Jesse) was a true mixologist and I had one of the best old fashions I've ever had. He brought the drinks to our table himself, and was very kind and had the warmest demeanor. He invited us back for dinner for an even better experience. We canno

Traveling from Florida up to Charlotte NC and jumped off the highway for a late 2pm lunch. So glad we looked online and didnt stop right off of 95. We found the bistro and really enjoyed the small hometown feel. Ran into a very nice group of 8 ladies playing bridge that checked on us where very friendly. Great embassadors for the town. Highly recommend stopping at Bistro 221.

Katie was such a great server, she was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and ensured that we had a great time. Thank you for this lovely dining experience!

Bistro 221 is a true hidden gem. Housed in a gorgeous restored brick building, the space strikes the perfect balance between cozy chic and versatile charm. The upgrades are clearly well thought out—this is a spot that could easily transform into a formal venue, yet it’s just as comfortable for a dressed-down, small-town family dinner. The food did not disappoint. We started with the deep-fried catfish pieces, which were light, crispy, and full of flavor. My husband ordered the salmon with vegetables—cooked beautifully—and I enjoyed the Bistro Burger with fries, extra crispy just as I requested. Every dish arrived hot and fresh. To wash it all down, the beer was perfectly cold, and my husband gave two thumbs up to the sweet tea. Service was another highlight. Our server, Ms. Courtney, was
