Very nice inside. Needs more air flow a little stuffy is all. The waitress was very helpful and pleasant (Chrissy) Gave some great insight on the dishes. Food Fried Catfish dish was better than I expected from a restaurant in the north. 7.5/10 Fried calamari Think they were trying to do too much. Not a fan of pesto bathed calamari. 5/10 Grilled Meatloaf This was amazing and you must try it. Everything tasted great in the dish and complimented each other well. 9/10 Carmel lava cake Was good reminded me of a thick pancake with homemade whip cream and Carmel as the syrup. 8/10 All of these were great big portions all worth the price.

Food looks and smells fresh and great quiet atmosphere. Very pleased with taste and cleanliness. Restrooms are clean and bar is neat. Thank you!

We had a wonderful lunch today at Bistro 197. The food was delicious with generous portions. We had the salmon and the risotto. The server could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The owner checked in to see how we were doing. We had a window seat and watched the snow fall. Great experience. Highly recommended.

We had reservations for 6:30, waited a long time for a waitress to show up to take our drink orders. Drinks weren't ready so we ordered our apps. Drinks finally came and were either not what we ordered or not what they were described as on the menu. Apps came out and soon salads came out. I was given the wrong soup, waitress brought me the soup I ordered and it wasn't even warm. We finally got our meals at 7:50. The food was not good and the service was horrible. I won't go there again.

If you're looking for good vibes and good food come on a Friday night the pasta and prime rib were fantastic. A long with the live music.
