⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First Stop in San Diego — And It Will Always Be I had just touched down in San Diego after traveling all morning and was beyond hungry. This was not the time for “okay” food or mediocre flavors. I was back on the West Coast—where amazing food lives—and I wanted my first meal to set the tone. While checking out my rental car, I asked the employee finalizing my paperwork a simple question: “What’s your absolute favorite food spot?” He didn’t hesitate. Birrieria Enriquez. He immediately gave me the address. I followed up with, “What do you get?” His response? “Everything’s good… but the birria fries? Oh my goodness.” The way he said it told me everything I needed to know. His eyes rolled back, his body relaxed, and he had a full emotional reaction just describing the food.

When I entered the restaurant, I overheard a couple saying it’s the best birria they had. They weren’t lying. I ordered the birria ramen, and it was so good. The ramen came with 3 massive pieces of meat. The noodles soaked up the flavorful broth. I’m so full and really happy with what I ordered.

Must try! Hands down one of best taco spots I've been to. I tried the birria, battered shrimp, and batteres fish tacos and all of them were amazing. The staff was also so kind and welcoming and will definitely come back when I find myself in San Diego again.

Great hole in the wall. Friendly and attentive service, clean seats and tables, and quick food. The guacamole came out in a molecajete with freshly fried tortilla chips, all unsalted (so make sure you grab a salt shaker!) 3 different types of complimentary salsa in bottles. Birria nice, juicy, flavorful. We ordered 2 sets of 2 taco quesa birria with some Mexican coke. Truly excellent lunch. Dog friendly, even if you are just passing by.

Best birria I have ever eaten very delicious I got the birria ramen queso birria tacos a bowl of birra tacos cooked perfectly birra so juicy cheese gooey birra was perfectly spicy service was excellent definitely try this place well worth it parking is find some street parking it was easy for me but could get difficult
