Birdies Hot Chicken

Highly recommend this new spot on Washington St in downtown Boston. They serve halal chicken, which is a big plus. The fried chicken was really good ,,,the breast pieces are smaller than Dave’s Hot Chicken, but I actually preferred their spicy chicken. They’ve got arcade games for kids, makes our lunch lots of fun! I went for the combo with sliders, fries, chicken, and cheese. There’s a customer restroom, prices are reasonable, and overall it’s a solid halal option in the area… highly recommended Parking is the only headache, but Pi Alley Garage at 275 Washington St has a $16 flat rate on weekends, which helps.

Best place in Boston. Service was amazing! Super affordable!! And the food was PHENOMENAL! It’s the kinda food you have once in your life and dream about every night…type of chicken to bring you to tears 🥹🥹

The music is great, I initially tried birdies at everybody’s gotta eat block party this past summer and I loved it! Wish there were more locations but it’s still great

Explosively Good! 🔥🔥🔥 I usually can’t stand coleslaw or cabbage on food—it always tastes off. But Birdies changed the game. Their sandwiches? Absolutely juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. It took me a whole year to finally try it (because let’s be honest, chicken sandwiches can often be greasy and disappointing)… but this one? A MUST-HAVE if you’re into tender, quality chicken. Word of caution: if you like it hot, be honest with yourself about your spice tolerance. When Birdies says hot, they mean HOT—like “text your ex while sweating” hot 😅. Chicken was cooked brownish so could tell the oil was used, also tasted a little spicy when i asked for no spice, which isn’t a problem for me. Overall chicken was juicy, fries were a little cold but well seasoned. For a fast casual place not bad, but don’t expect the same level of quality vs a traditional restaurant
