Birdie's at Stanford Golf

Excellent spot and outdoor atmosphere. Great views and quiet. Food can be improved but still not bad.

Our endless pursuit of cool restaurants brought us to Birdie's today and we are super stoked we checked it out. First of all, it has parking, like more than it needs. No circling the block here. The views of the mountains across the bay are stunning and if golf is your thing....well you've got that. We had the tuna melt which was delicious, and the cobb salad which was huge. The onion rings (which I'm a huge snob about) were pretty much perfect. They were well seasoned, crispy and not oil-soggy. The staff were all pros and just the right amount of attentive and willing to chit-chat with us. We brought a burger home to-go for our daughter and it disappeared in seconds, so apparently their food travels well. Overall I'd recommend adding this to your go-to spots. It should be packed

So sad the food is under par as the outside patio lovely. had fish tacos which were probably frozen fish sticks fried. Pretty bad. Miss Coupa Cafe the previous restaurant there

Great food and drinks and friendly service. We went on opening day and will be back many times. Check it out whether you’re golfing or just in the neighborhood.
