Unbelievably good Italian sub. Spicy and delicious. $10 for the sub. Pretty cheap these days. You be hard pressed to find a sub better with a better atmosphere. Great vibes. Great food. Will definitely return.

We’re from the UK and quite literally never tasted or experienced anything like this place. We ordered the pastrami sub, sausage egg and cheese bagel and a cream cheese bagel. Just get everything on the menu though. The people are so hard working and so friendly, and the food was incredible - so much value for money!! If the shop is full for eat-in, then take it to go and take a short walk to the public garden. They also show the prem games! This was just so good. Thank you so much.

Best Italian sub in all of Boston! Fresh bread, lots of meat and cheese, and they marinate the toppings like the tomatoes and pickles in olive oil and Italian seasoning like you’re supposed to. Plus, the prices are great and the entire crew that works there is super nice. I could not recommend this place anymore.

Very local spot serving delicious subs at a great price. I’m going a sandwich quest to find the best sub in Boston, so naturally I had to go to Billy’s after a friend recommended it to me. Got the steak tip sub, which was very reasonably priced at only $14. Few mins later, sub was here. Very minimalist: you add the sauce and you’re responsible for choosing the veggies: I went with tomato and pepperonci for a little kick. They served it on a sub roll and add the protein. The steak tips were extremely flavourful: aggressively seasoned and very tender, felt like it was a filet to be honest. Probably the best steak tips I’ve had in Boston, crazy that I would find them at a local sub shop. The bread was pretty standard, but I didn’t mind it because the steak tips were really fantastic. I dropped by this place while I was on a business trip. Jet lag had me up super early, and since they open at 6 a.m., I was able to grab an early breakfast. For Boston’s crazy prices, the food was tasty and surprisingly affordable.
