Bikanervala Rochelle Park

Visited Bikanervala and tried the chilli paneer, samosa chaat, garlic noodles, and chole bhature. Overall, the food was good, with the chole bhature being the clear standout — fluffy, fresh bhature paired with flavorful chole made it really satisfying. The samosa chaat was well-balanced and comforting, and the chilli paneer had decent spice and texture. One of the highlights of the place is the huge variety of Indian sweets on display, which makes it perfect for dessert lovers or takeaway mithai. A solid spot for classic North Indian food and snacks.

We enjoyed our lunch at Bikanervala. Ordered couple dishes like Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Veg Manchurian. Pani Puri and Dahi Puri are cold dishes, but was tasty. Veg Manchurian was good too. They also have some Indian sweets to try/buy.

Bikanervala in Rochelle Park is a solid spot for Indian vegetarian snacks and sweets. I stopped by recently and really enjoyed the variety on offer. The chaat selection was decent…..nothing mind-blowing, but reliably tasty with good flavors from the chutneys, yogurt, and spices in items like aloo tikki chole chaat and others. The portions are generous, and everything felt fresh. Their sweets counter is tempting too, and the staff was friendly and quick with service. It’s a convenient location on NJ-17 with easy parking, perfect for a quick bite or takeout. Not quite 5-star perfection yet (maybe the chaat could use a bit more zing), but definitely worth 4 stars for consistent quality and authentic vibes. Great addition to the area.

ordered papri chaat to go and ended up waiting almost twenty minutes, only to be handed two pre-packaged containers—one with some random chaat ingredients and the other with a mixed chutney. They charged $10 for this, and honestly, I was shocked when I opened it. It looked nothing like the papri chaat I’m used to, and it definitely didn’t taste like it either. This was one of the worst papri chaats I’ve ever eaten. I was so disappointed, and I won’t be ordering this again. Be your own judge after looking at the pictures, but for me, this was a complete letdown.

Bikanerwala is an excellent option for Indian food! If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, sweets, and culture, this place is a must-visit. The staff is courteous, hardworking, and friendly. Both quality and quantity are top-notch. We enjoyed the deluxe thali and kachodi with some barfi for lunch and even got some sweets packed for our friends. The sweets were fresh and delicious!👍😊
