Big Swede's Resort

two years now have stayed in sunrise cottage for the fall fishing. cabin is very nice, clean, grounds kept up. very nice to be able to leave boat in water and not worry about it||just a short walk from cottage. also must say the staff at the bar and resort are very friendly, and helpful if you have questions, or need help. the food and service at bar/restaurant is excellent. have recommended this resort to other fisherman.

I've spoken with quite a few of the bartenders and they are really nice girls. All the locals I've spoken with are friendly and generous. Their broasted chicken is hit or miss, but it's the best thing on the menu (when it's good). Friday fish fry is awesome. They don't do complicated mixed drinks, so pick a liquor and a 1 mixer. If it's your birthday month, on the 3rd Saturday you drink for free for 2 hours, call for details.

Went there to eat with my wife. Both the service and food were great. I thought the menu had some very creative options that you don't find in that area

The name has changed to Phat Bob's but setting hasn't seemed to have changed. Friendly bartender, just needs a little more time behind the bar. My Big Swede burger was delicious and my wife' liked her gyro but it was a little dry. Never the less we will stop on our way by. French fries are the best fresh cut skin on fries ever.
