Fun place for swimming a jumping along Lake Superior. Spectacular views on a secluded beach. A couple mile hike to get there from Little Beaver Campground.
So worth the hike. A little tricky to access unless you know what you're doing, but it's such a stunning place to see and hang out. Also an awesome place to jump in and swim, especially if you want to experience the good old Lake Superior chill.
Great scenery! Hiked from Little Beaver Campground on the 1.5 mile trail. It's worth the walk.
Really incredible place. Somewhat tricky to find but not bad. 30 minute hike from trailhead. Close to 12 mile beach. Very cool at the cove itself. Small Beach to lay on and lots of flat rock to walk on. The waves were pretty big when we were there and swimming seemed scary at first. But the water is actually fairly shallow so you could keep your footing even in the waves. DO NOT DIVE.. it is too shallow even on the rocks that are further out. Even jumping you will hit bottom. Great place!
Breathtaking spot. Highly recommend making the trek and just spend a few moments watching the waves crash.
