Big Picture Burgers

Whimsical atmosphere themed from old movies. Was a little dark but understood the reason to enhance the movie theater environment. This is not a fast food restaurant so appreciated the time it took to cook the food. Not greasy, over or under cooked. No complaints with food whatsoever. Whole family had fun and the off menu burgers were definitely the way to go. The maltese falcon was very flavorful along with the garlic Parmesan fries. Rest of family had clean plates. Would definitely return when I have a hankering for hamburgers. Not run of the mill burger joint. Recommend to try and won't disappoint. Kids laughed at and enjoyed watching the movie playing, Frankenstein's daughter. So cheesy watching 50 year old movie with special effects and makeup.

Big Picture Burger in Kathleen is such a fun and unexpected find. This little hamburger joint is packed with personality and absolutely adorable old Hollywood decor. They even play classic scary movies on a big screen, which adds so much to the vibe. The red lighting, the mood, and the sheer amount of cool stuff on the walls had my boyfriend and me completely in awe the whole time. Everywhere you look there’s something interesting, from a Millennium Falcon to a Superwoman poster, a Bates Motel sign, and stacks of old VHS tapes. It’s just very, very cool and thoughtfully done. I got the Jaws and it was delicious. Got the sampler for the fries, cheese fries and onion rings. The lady running it was nice and appeared to be doing A LOT and still had good service. Definitely would be back, the place was super cool too!

I really wanted to like this place, and had been wanting to try it for some time now. The environment is interesting and unique nothing like it in town but it's gimmicky and evidently it's what you are paying for. I honestly don't understand the positive reviews I've read because they don't match my experience at all unless there was an ownership of management shift at some point? Id classify this as a pretty expensive place to get burgers and fries especially considering the local competition. And it's not great. Id say the quality is coincidentally what you would find in a movie theater, but priced like Wild Wings or Walk-ons (which IMO taste a lot better) My two kids and I ordered 2 Burgers and fries with a soft drink and a hot dog from kids menu. Ate here with my family this evening for the first time and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was awesome and the service was friendly and welcoming. The menu options were great for different people with different taste without being overwhelming. The burgers are large but not tall so they're not a conundrum to eat. We'll definitely be back soon!
