Big Gilley's Smokehouse and Diner

This is a nice little restaurant. Good friendly service. I had the brisket plate, my friend had "The Big Ugly Potato" with pulled pork. She said it was good.

Let me tell y'all something...this place is a hidden gem of deliciousness. You know the show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?" This would be featured on that show. There meat was perfectly tender and smokey. The BBQ sauce was on point for bold, spicey, and sweet. The customer was absolutely fantastic. If you are ever in Ashdown or in the mood for a road trip to get some yummy food go here. *I got the 'Merica Sandwich and it was enough for 3 people. 10 out of 5 stars!

I cant say too many good things about this place the cook on point it i tell you there salads are cute an nice everything is cooked to protection the prices are just right not to high or low everyone is friendly as ever I went three days in a row an there menu is an open menu you see you like you order you eat just that simple

My boyfriend and I stopped by here on our way back home. I had always seen it but never stopped. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon so the lunch crowd was gone. But there were several people still there. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and service and atmosphere. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak which he said was excellent and he had ordered coleslaw as a side...... it was phenomenal homemade without a doubt! We both loved it. I had the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. Which was awesome as well and the onion rings were probably one of the best I've ever had because the whole onion didn't come out of the crust. Had the pulled pork 🥩 sandwich 🥪 very good the pork had a nice smokey flavor to witch is harsh to find hand plain regular hand cut fries 🍟 with ot. Also have per can sugar on the table with sweeting packs. Only complaint is no bbq Plat available
