Customer Reviews
Tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! I got the quail claypot and salted fish and pork claypot. Both were very tasty and the rice balances out the saltiness of the meat. The eggplant with spicy garlic sauce was also really good! I recommend using their claypot sauce for an even tastier meal.
Salty Lemon Honey Drink (咸柠蜜): Tried it for the first time—super refreshing and thirst-quenching! Perfect for summer. Beef Brisket Wonton Noodles (牛腩云吞面): The beef brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful. The noodles were smooth and springy, and the broth was rich and savory. The wonton skins were slightly overcooked, but overall, it was excellent. Beef Chow Chow Mein (牛肉炒车仔面): The biggest surprise of the meal! Full of wok hei (aroma of the wok), packed with veggies, and before I knew it, I’d eaten a ton of veggies. A perfect balance of healthy and delicious. Rice Noodle Roll (肠粉): Absolutely lives up to the hype! I’ve had many rice noodle rolls before, but this was the first time I truly understood how amazing they can be—thin, silky, and delicious. Clay Pot Rice (煲仔饭): Also outst
It was my first time trying this location. I was introduced to it by the one in Quincy, but it seems the Brookline branch has more dishes. The staff in Quincy mentioned that the Brookline one is currently fine-tuning and updating their menu, so I’d love to come back and try it again next time.
A very authentic little eatery. The curry fish balls with rice noodles are delicious, and the beef brisket clay pot rice is also excellent. We also ordered the coconut black chicken soup and pork liver. There aren't many seats. Parking is only available on the street.
A little hole in the wall restaurant, service is friendly and small seating area. The clay pot with rice and meat stays nice and hot, needs a little more of the sauce in my opinion, which you can find on the table. The beef chow fun is excellent, good balance and not too oily. The fivespice duck is okay, watch the little bone shards because they cut it up fresh.
