Big Dipper Creamery

Not open. It doesn't even look like it's ever been open and it looks like it's no where near ready for the public. We live very close and I haven't seen one person there. We decided to give it a try and maybe they're just not good at advertising. Anyway, we pulled up and see a huge banner saying "NOW OPEN" right on the exterior wall. Tried to go in, doors locked, lights off, very stale, gray and uninviting(not that you can go in anyway). It is Sunday, March 8th approximately 4:30pm when we arrived. I've never been in a Dipper Creamery, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I saw was a bunch of freezers lined against the wall filled with ice cream tubs. Not actually open, drove 30 miles and big sign year round…nope. Big bummer

Shows open on Google, big sign on the street saying open. Promised the kids ice cream but got there and they were closed 🤷🏼‍♀️

Showed up 6 times when they were supposed to be open...lights on but doors locked and noone in sight...save yourself time and go elsewhere

Why put a NOW OPEN sign that looks directly on to highway 10 if you're not actually going to be open. We have stopped in a couple times now and what a waste of time. At this point even when you are actually open we will not be stopping by agaon because that's kind of ridiculous and definitely false advertisement. There is nothing wrong with not being prepared to open but then please don't advertise it. We would have patiently waited instead of making multiple trips there.
