Big Daddy's Ice Cream

I did not know i liked banana ice cream until i tried their banana chocolate chip! That and their blueberry pie is a must-try. This blows the other ice cream places out of the water. I wish we found this earlier in our trip. Only thing to note is there is no where nearby to sit unless you walk down closer to where some of the other shops are (IE the dog shop).

Convenient street side location, super friendly staff, generous servings (in fact wasn’t able to finish a small!) at a reasonable price, and most importantly deliciously homemade. The chocolate chip and red raspberry chip are highly recommended and fantastic.

While traveling up the Maine coast we would constantly see these Big Daddy ice cream shops. We agreed it was a Maine staple so we had to try. We made a quick pit stop to give it a go. I recommend the Maine blue berry ice cream. Bae got the vanilla and coke float. We enjoyed our frozen treat while taking a walk around town.

Friendly person that help me i got the maple walnut too sweet but I did like it. Fast service

The ice cream was excellent and the serving size was VERY generous! Erin served us and she treated us like family.
