Big City Market & Coffee Bar

This is my first visit. I called to make a pick up order. No answer until after the 4th try. They're message states text us your order. It seems as they expect everyone to have a cell phone. I was calling from my home phone. I requested 3 separate bags, because I was delivering to 3 separate householders. But they couldn't follow that simple request after they agreed to do so. After paying I asked for a printer receipt as I don't have a cell phone. They couldn't provide that as physical proof of purchase.. this will keep me away. The food was ok. A bit dry, it was hard to eat the first half of the sandwich. I abandoned the 2nd half. . They should give an option of condiments, I thought the basil mayo was disgusting, everyone don't have the same taste. I think if they went a few extra steps

I was traveling and needed to set up and work there for about 4 hours so I got coffee, breakfast, and lunch all in one visit. The staff was extremely welcoming and even helped me pick the best spot to “set up shop.” The pamento cheese, chicken, and hot honey sandwich that I got for lunch is LITERALLY the best sandwich I’ve ever had.

Unique and delicious! Small town feel but definitely Big City ambitions! Food is fresh and ingredients locally grown! Coffees, espressos and many other drinks are amazing, any way you want it prepared. Can't go wrong with their menu. Got to get there early before its all ate up!

Had a wonderful experience here. The owner and staff are super friendly and had delicious recommendations! We will definitely be back.

I live out of town but have family down here and make this a must go spot each time we visit. The staff are friendly and patient with us not being familiar with the menu, and the coffee is always delicious. I even miss it! Don't skip out on this gem.
