Big Chicken

This is the quintessential chicken combo. This is so incredible. It brought tears to a grown man’s eyes. I don’t just recommend this place. I’m telling you you need to try this.

The chicken itself was decent, so I want to be fair about that. However, the overall experience was disappointing. I ordered a meal, but it did not come with a drink, and I had to purchase it separately, which was unexpected for a fast-food place. During payment, the system asked for a tip, and the front desk staff (who appeared to be the owner) leaned forward and watched me choose the tip option, which made me uncomfortable. Considering that I had to clean up after myself once I finished eating, this behavior felt especially rude and inappropriate. Whether or not to tip should be completely up to the customer, especially in a fast-food restaurant. After ordering, I waited nearly 30 minutes for my food, and it seemed like everyone else was also waiting a very long time. The food was okay,

Shaq told me In my algorithms that "Wrentham, better see me at Big Chicken" well. Didn't disappoint. First off, the retail store isn't open yet, but tbe food truck is there. Being a limited menu. The food was fantastic! Shaq did not steer me wrong. Crispy and tasty. The guy running the food truck was rude but that was minor. Food won over annoyance. Ordered online and food was waiting for me whan I arrived. I did have to hunt for the truck as it moved from the location on the map. Can't wait to try the full menu!

This review is about the food trailer that is located at the Wrentham Premium Outlets. On Sunday 8/17/25 my daughter and I were standing in line to order food from the trailer when at 5:55 the clerk taking orders closes the window and motions they are closed. The outlets close at 6 on Sunday and while I understand closing times, I also worked management and know that you do not turn away customers who are waiting in line. There were also 2 other families waiting in line behind us. Apparently they also have a dine-in location at the same outlets which I will never patronize due to the terrible service at the trailer and I hope those other families feel the same way.

I don’t usually write reviews unless the food spiritually wrestles me into submission, but Big Chicken did exactly that. The chicken wasn’t just crispy—it crunched in a way that made me feel like the universe was giving me a high-five. I bit into it and for a moment I forgot my own name. The seasoning whispered secrets to me I will never repeat. The fries? They didn’t taste like fries. They tasted like golden sticks of encouragement, telling me “you’re doing great, champ” with every bite. The dipping sauce may have been engineered in another dimension because my tongue briefly left my body to go file a patent.
