Big Buck's Homemade Ice Cream

Such a cute ice cream shop and lots of other sweet treats and gifts to consider as well. It was super cold inside and refreshing to enter the store on a very hot day! The ice cream was very tasty and everyone enjoyed it. I do think the prices are pretty high for an ice cream but I suppose it’s in line with the rest of the areas pricing.

We stopped by the Big Bucks Home made ice cream parlor. It was a very colorful place. It was cold and nicely air conditioned. That’s a plus because it was so hot outside. They had at least 36 different flavors of homemade ice cream. They use natural organic ingredients. No chemicals in their ice cream. Their milk comes from Italy and their chocolate comes from Belgium. They make their ice cream three times a week. Their ice cream only has a two month shelf life. Ice cream with chemicals will last at least 2 years. I personally don’t want to eat 2 years old ice cream. The ice cream was exceptionally good and hit the spot on a very hot day. When I was at this shop the soft serve ice cream was unavailable. The line was crazy inside and out of the store. The line outside was about 100 degrees in the hallway at around 9 pm, everyone was sweating and avoiding spiders and cockroaches. Once you actually get inside which took quite a while the decor was pretty cool and the store was clean. The ice cream was very expensive and quite frankly not even that good. The portion sizes are pretty fare but the flavor of the ice cream was borderline breyers quality. They have a menu outside of the store to see what you want before you enter but it is horribly inaccurate. Multiple ice cream flavors were on the outside menu but once you get inside the selection was completely different. I gotta give it to the staff they did a great job and kept

Very good ice cream! Price gouging though, they wanted $7.95 for two small scoops of ice cream in one cup and $7.95 for a second empty cup with a spoon and no ice cream… most ice creams don’t come with a cone, most cones are extra… everything is extra and while the very small scoops taste great the cost doesn’t justify it. I was given the impression the staff knew things were ridiculously priced but I believe the owner wants it this way. It’s all about profit in this shop. I won’t be returning here for anything. FYI, in the same block there’s a second shop that makes their own ice cream. This shop didn’t have any soft serve ice creams. Bottom line: “not a good value.”

Very friendly store, great selection of ice cream. My only complaint is it’s a bit pricey compared to everything else around. The taste makes up for it:)
