Big Boss Chinese

A wonderful carryout spot for very good Chinese food at a decent price. Food was ordered online and was ready within 15 minutes for pick up. Egg Rolls are fantastic as was the Mongolian Beef - some of the best I've ever had! Solid portions. Staff was super friendly at pick up. The inside looked like a retro Chinese restaurant. I'll definitely return!

For the area, Big Boss has decent casual-style Chinese food. You order at the front counter, and the servers were friendly and helpful. The portion sizes are also reasonable. Inside is also pretty cool, reminiscent of a traditional casual Chinese restaurant in NYC or San Francisco with some modern touches. If you want outstanding Chinese food though, head up north (Buford Highway, Duluth, Johns Creek, etc).

My second time eating at Big Boss after being pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food our first time visiting a few months ago. Crab rangoons came out in a reasonable time and were very good. But then we waited for a bit - about 35 minutes before the guy who initially took our order came over to ask if we had received our food yet. Anyone who has been in a restaurant before knows that mistakes can happen. What defines a restaurant, in my view, is how they respond to those mistakes. Big Boss has a great staff. Not only did they apologize profusely, they brought out, without any prompt, an entire additional order of crab Rangoon and an entree portion of Sesame Chicken to tide us over while our food was being hastily prepared. I lived in New York City for 8 years and missed NY style Chinese food in Atlanta. I am so happy to have found this place! The food is solid and I can tell, very fresh. The veggies are not wilted like at other places and love that everything is made to order. The eggrolls are the best I have ever tried- wow! hand rolled and made fresh! That is impressive. My go to's are General Tso, Mongolian chicken, Black Pepper Beef, dumplings , chicken lo mein, crab rangoon, pork fried rice and more. The food is outstanding and I am enjoying their new outdoor patio so much. They offer free parking- who does that anymore in-town Atlanta?!

I might’ve actually found the best chinese restaurant service/food wise. I walk in instantly greeted by a very helpful and nice woman named Lola which she ended up further persuading me to get what i ended up getting. Very easy to talk to and felt like i’ve ordered from her 1000x before. Food A1 took 15 minutes to eat even though it was cooked in 10 everything cooked perfectly to a tee. For $20 i’ll be here every friday night
