Big Blue 252 Coffee Bar + Plus

We found this "hidden gem" looking for coffee on the way back from the beach. This cafe made me rethink what is possible in a (very) small town - lots of local character with every "big city" trend available as well. We literally met the mayor in our ten minutes there. The food was all homemade as were the drinks. The biscuit was delicious. The owner is a big chess fan & will challenge you to a game if you're so inclined.

Great breakfast sandwiches! The bacon is thick and tasted smoked. Super yummy. The owners are very kind. We loved chatting with them. Delicious biscuits. This place is right off the highway so it’s a quick stop. I would highly recommend

I don’t typically leave reviews, but we stopped here to grab a caffeine pick me up and use the restroom on the way back from the outer banks and fell in love immediately. Some of the kindest, warmest service I’ve ever received and the best breakfast sandwich (with melty cheese) that I’ve ever had. We have already recommended them to 3 family members and will be stopping here from here on out!

Walked in to get a quick bite for lunch. Found out they had Catfish. I then ordered one of the lunch specials that included a sandwich w/fries. The Catfish sandwich didn’t disappoint at all, golden brown and hot. My only 2 cents would be instead of that bun, give 2 slices of white bread, add hot sauce on the side w/fries. Really good. This establishment had a nice bar from the looks of things. Will come back when I’m not in a hurry to sit down and try breakfast. See you soon! Owners were so friendly! I stopped in here to grab coffee and a snack while passing through, and I believe I've found a hidden gem. First, it's rustic and welcoming. The decor is very relaxed and it's like you're at Grandma's house. It smells like fresh ground coffee beans. The staff was very kind and made me feel 100% at home. NO chain coffee house has ever come close to this. I just love this place - I'll never pass through Creswell again without stopping here, for sure!
