Big Bird Sushi Bar & Thai

This place is a new favorite of ours! Such a great find. So much attention to detail and everything is just so cute! We love the menu selection and quality of food. Everything tasted perfectly seasoned, fresh, and made with love. Even the freakin’ miso soup tasted top tier! The service was so friendly too; despite getting very busy over the course of our visit, it never felt like we were really waiting and our server stayed so friendly even though she was the running the whole place. Cannot wait to come back! 🦅

I’m so happy this space is in use again and that it’s such yummy food! I got the gyoza to start and they were warm, crispy, and had great flavor. I also got the Pad Thai and it was served fresh and hot, so good! It was all complimented nicely by the Thai Iced Tea which had the right amount of sweetness. All for ~$30. I highly recommend! 😊

Generous size portions ‼️ Literary one tom yam is enough to eat for one person or could be shared for 2. We had a tom yam with shrimps, fried rice with veggie & shrimps, stir fried veggies with chicken & shumai with shrimps. Paid 59$ plus tips. Delicious food, huge portions, great value!

We are ecstatic a great Thai/sushi restaurant blocks from our home in Hermosa. Escolar, uramaki with unagi and asparagus, ebi tempura were all hits. I had the Curry rice with tomatoes with red spicy sauce it was great. We will frequent this place. With a lot of food appetizers and soups to go turned out to be 50.00 a person. Copious amount of food. Good stuff

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. The food was fresh and flavorful, and everything was beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed dinner. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!
