Between the Buns Bar & Grill

Haven’t reviewed in a minute, but, rest assured, I’ve been eating 😊😊😊 So, Between the Buns… Let’s just say, delicious and now in a much bigger spot( if y’all remember during Covid, it was in a much tinier place and we had to eat in our car) but…the food is just as good. Decent pricing and portions are decent as well. Also, if you just want a beer or a cocktail, they’ve got you covered there, or…an appetizer at the bar type dining experience…also gotcha covered. It was fairly busy, but not super crazy. If that’s not your style, I saw lots of people coming in just for pickup. As I always say: I’m not the judge or the jury, so if you’re in Calico, give ‘em a try and see if you like it as well

I went with my family and it was awesome. Our waitress was very patient, friendly, and informal. She recommended to replace the BBQ nachos with fries and it was yummy! We were all definitely full off our meal.

We were out trail riding with the Jeeps and came across this new restaurant in the sleepy little town of Calico Rock! Easily the best business in that town now. Food came out a little slower, but it was worth the wait! Delicious meals, some were custom made and not on the menu (shrimp wrap). Our server was very friendly and quick to check on us during our stay. Parking was ok too, this isn't a big place so if the lot is full, chances are... so are all the seats inside. It has a unique bar area seating not seen in many places. We will always make this a destination when doing the Mountain Home eastern loop from here on out!

Place looked really nice inside and out, waitress was really nice , but I’m not a fan of raw chicken. So dangerous , just glad I cut into my wings before I took a bite 😳🤮

Never got a chance to get our food to rate it, but what everyone was getting around us looked great. We sat for fifty minutes and never got our food, finally walked out. Very disappointed as we are from Texas and heard this was the bomb! When we walked in everyone turned and just kept staring at us, it very uncomfortable! I guess they don't appreciate non locals, even though tourists support their economy! Drove down to Mountain View and ate at Spah Grill, had our food in 10 minutes and it was great! Worth the disappointing experience at BTB!
