LOVE their chocolate. Been going to Betty Jane's since I was a kid, when they were in the Mall. I hadn't tried their ice cream before. But I got it this time and it (Gremlin-illa) and was DELICIOUS! Very creamy. Could have used a bit more chocolate flakes in it, but the caramel was velvety smooth and rich. My only criticism is the prices are higher than expected. One pound of Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans was about $20. But, despite the higher prices, my wife and I will definitely be going back for special occasions.

Visited Betty Jane's for a nostalgia trip through Dubuque. Enjoyed the super premium ice cream as a lunch substitute, dont regret that one bit. Notable for their variety and quality of candies and chocolates.

Amazing candies, nothing beats the Carmel apples fall only though. Came from WI for them. Ran into two friends there for the sour cherries the one was from Minnesota.

The fabulous taste of homemade candies right in the Dubuque, Iowa area. It has grown from a simple candy shop to now offering delicate truffles, wine specialty candies, and homemade daily Gourmet ice cream. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ ICE CREAM PORTIONS ARE HUGE! I needed to share mine, and it was the smallest that they had! Absolutely yummy and will go back. My favorite takeaway candy was the dark chocolate coffee Bark. The dark chocolate raspberry truffles will be my next purchase!

This place was great. They kept giving us free samples, and then we ordered a scoop of ice cream, and they gave us THE BIGGEST scoops that have ever been scooped. It was a meal of ice cream. Then, a bus pulled up in front of the place, and just parked in the street, blocking traffic. We saw some woman get out, and go in for a bit, then came back out with an employee and they got in the bus. Then a few minutes later, they got back out, and slowly but surely, an endless stream of elderly people got out and went in, WHILE THE BUS IS STILL BLOCKING TRAFFIC! And some guy started holding the door for the elderly people and must have felt awkward about letting it close, and so he stood there, in the rain, for probably 10 minutes while they all wanted across the parking lot and into the store like
