Betsy Head Pool

Taught myself to swim, float and basically stay cool during the summer. Its great for kids to hang out with friends. However, adults should be around their kids in the pool, to avoid the intermingling with the older kids sharing the waters.

🤗My happy place the best time is near the end of the summer when the kids are back in school. I've never had an entire pool to myself before. It was errie and uncomfortable at forst bc they literally had 4-6 life gaurds for just me and I did kinda feel bad....but I needed a swim especially before the season completely ended! After abt 30 mins or so it was amazingly awesome! But even when it super packed mid summer there is typically enough space to find your own little peace in the water. The female locker room is spacious and clean. The wait in line to enter is never too too long, the staff is always friendly and communicates instruction for entry well!! Very nice pool, great size for free swimming there, the male s lockerroom was built in a basketball court kinda funny, you can see the seagulls on the water

The bottom of the pool should be redone it's chipped in alot of places . Great place to cool off in this heat . Leaves are sometimes in pool that is another thing they should clean out.

Im 46 been coming here since I was 6 yrs old .. pretty cool neighbor pool.. sometimes can get real getto especially waiting on the line for the 2nd session to open . People wanna skip ,crying hungry looking babies . I mean its in the hood lol what u expect 🤷 over all its the only pool I really go to in my hood nobody messing with me . My kids are big now but they use to come also as kids . The staff is cool . You cant bring food or anything but water ,they do have some free lunches there. I still sneak in my liquor 🤪 its ways to work around thinGS .. hopes this helps
