Best Food In Town (Somers Point)

First time stopping in for takeout and I left with a lot of respect for this place. When I walked in it was clear the entire operation was being run by one person. The owner was cooking, handling orders, answering the phone, and managing the counter all at the same time. Her young son was sitting up front doing homework. Every time the doorbell rang, a friendly voice from the kitchen welcomed people in even before she could step out. There were several customers waiting while I was there and she kept everything moving with calm and professionalism. Food was extremely greasy. Egg roll was soft and greasy. Wings tasted old, I tore apart all of them and no white meat inside all of my wings were a weird dark grey. This restaurant served me OLD meat and clumpy rice. Will not ever be back.

Ordered delivery & food was absolutely incredible. The lunch specials are an incredible deal & quality. Got too excited and had to eat before I took pictures, believe me all the containers were FILLED. First time trying Szechuan Beef, absolutely incredible. Will order again. Best Food in Town, Somers Point is by far, the Best Chinese food in this area! The Dim Sum, Curry, Sha Cha Shrimp, Kung Pau! Amazing! Spring Rolls! Consistent for years! Owners and staff, chefs, awesome! My favorite for years.

Overall the food was mediocre. The boneless spare ribs had a really sauce and they weren't cooked enough. The hot & sour soup had a different flavor than you'd expect, the scallion pancakes were way too thick. That said, the dumplings were great. We truly enjoyed those. And the lo mein was very good too. Probably will travel elsewhere in the future.
