5 Stars – Great Food, Friendly Service & Perfect Stop Bert’s Hot Dog Shop is everything you want in a classic hot dog spot. The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. The chili dogs are huge, foot-long, loaded with flavor, and absolutely delicious. I also tried a chocolate milkshake, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, rich, creamy, and made just right. The location is very convenient, with plenty of parking and several picnic tables outside so you can relax and enjoy your meal on the spot. The food is amazing! The service is great! I just wish it wasn't right on the road but you'd miss the amazing smells if it was too far back! The double cheeseburger is better than any fastfood place!

I've been wanting to try this place for years and we finally made it after a shopping trip to Kaufmanns. I got a chili cheese dog with onions and shared a large onion ring with the hubby. Everything was so delicious. We will definitely be back.

Structure needs a paint job. No ice cream for the milkshake request. Boiled hot dogs, not fried. If crispy is requested, a hot dog 🌭 is dropped in a deep fryer! 🥔 potatoe fries are from a box. Breakfast is supposedly served at any time of business opening. Roadside vehicle noise is apparent. Reported to have been opened in 1947?

Hands down best hotdogs. Ordered a chilicheesedog today for the first time and I was not disappointed. Second visit back, 11/5/25, tried the hot pepper jack burger. It is amazing!! Very deliciously made.
