Sticker shock alert - not sure if it's because of Valentine's Day or if this is the norm, but $39 for a bowl of pasta is outrageous. Yes, it comes with salad and sides but seriously?? I asked for a glass of house wine which was $17.50 and not that great a pour. Sure, everyone is pleasant enough and that's why I'd feel bad giving 2 stars, but the food definitely does not justify the price point and this definitely put a damper on the holiday.

Lovely restaurant off the beaten path, family owned, interesting history, wonderfully decorated. The food was terrific, the service wonderful and the chef checking on everyone! Everything freshly made from the ricotta with truffle honey, the marvelous tomatoe soup, the chantrel mushroom ravioli and my favorite berry, huckleberry sauce over vanilla ice cream! A joy!

Atmosphere is warm and inviting. For an old victorian building, it was totally immaculate and clean. Dinner was out of this world. Would highly recommend. Absolutely love the place. Please visit and you will be so glad you did.

Came here for a pasta night before the marathon and the food was amazing and service was above and beyond! Would definitely come back!

My adult brothers & I brought the parental units for Chef's Night. A+ ambiance, service, efficiency, variety, drinks, and food! Given the excellent price for the pre-fixe menu, we expected our options and portions to be limited—not so! Mom raved about her Negroni, I loved the smoked Danish trout, and the 5 different entrées brought all-around delight. All of our orders came out quickly, correctly, and at the same time. Our waiter was attentive and charming. Thank you, Berta's Chateau, for a lovely, memorable night!
