Berry's on Main - Norwalk, OH

Our server was a little forgetful and was easily distracted. Not busy at all so not sure why she was so distracted. But she was super sweet. As you walk in there, it's a beautiful stained glass window, and a little cafe type area. Then, you go into the main restaurant which we were actually surprised because we thought it was like a diner. But pleasantly it's an actual restaurant. Super comfortable chairs. The food was absolutely great. Except for the mashed potatoes and gravy. The gravy was thick and a taste That was very off putting. It seemed to have like a grease pork type flavor. Please change the gravy or offer more options on gravy. The macaroni and cheese was great. The perch had the skin still on which I personally do not like so I was not happy about that. We've never been there before but it was so nice. When you walk it gives the vibe of a relax and enjoy a coffee. There were two other rooms to dine in. The third room was the bar. The atmosphere was so very good. Our server was was very attentive and made sure we didn't need anything. I wanted just the cheesey grits and an egg. It was listed was as shrimp and grits. The food was GOOD!! We will go back.

Honestly went in for the food buffet for New Year’s Eve. Obviously they aren’t anything like a kalahari buffet so expectations weren’t high. But we thought the food would have been worth the $40 per person. Went with a party of four me and two others ate food which was just okay and some of it belonged in a fast food restaurant. But the other person got what was pictured below tried a bite of each item and spit each bite out. That person wasn’t fond of the flavor so they didn’t eat anything because not only is what they got nasty but the options were limited. When we brought this up to the server she said ok I will fix it, came back with the owner and a man who stood in the doorway to block the entrance we came in. I absolutely loved eating here, their food was tasty, the atmosphere is beautiful and the service from their kind staff is very good. Their prices are fair and we didn’t feel rushed.

I saw this picture at Walgreens in norwalk oh. on this place so I was curious. Went there and did not expect to get a history on the place from all the hosts there. That was a win win for me. How fascinating. The food was great texture the staff was great. Im so glad I went there . Thanks everyone.
