Berlin-Peck Memorial Library

Berlin library has a history that started in 1829. This particular library opened in 1989. It's located in a lovely campus across the street from the town hall. There were plenty of parking and the library was spacious and had an open layout. When you first walk in, the children section is to the right. They had a large children section which was nicely decorated with fake trees and a variety of kids decor. They also had so many toys for the kids; from a toy train table, kitchen sets, cash register, dollhouse, and more. They had a wide array of books too. My family and I spent about an hour in there and loved it. It was pretty busy since it's a weekend and cold out; other families had the same plans as us. Overall, it's definitely a nice library. I didn't talk to the librarians so I can't

extremely loud environment. kids are running and playing, the librarians are constantly laughing and talking to the patrons. No one is told to be quiet. They talk so loudly that they can be heard from the other side of the library. Don’t come here to work or focus.

I never saw a library with baking pans before!! Super cool. Apparently there's a gym and rec center for the town underneath it too. They have a pretty good selection of various categories of books compared to the size of the library and the exterior landscape is GORGEOUS!!! it's also pretty quiet,

A wonderful place filled with great energy. There is something for everyone and they work very hard to keep things running in a productive and efficient way. They also do an amazing job with keeping their materials up to date and easy to find (whether it be online or in person) in order to make the experience a great one for all involved.

Went in for a passport renewal. The staff that helped was friendly and professional. It was super easy. Then, we walked around to look for books. Loved how the YA books were organized. Super friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
