Berens Frozen Custard

Frozen custard shouldn't taste this good 😊. The young lady that took my order was so professional. She greeted us with a warm smile and a pleasant hello. On 11/08/25 at 305pm my brother and I and his son stopped by to enjoy some frozen custard. I'm from Charlotte NC and my brother that resides in Georgia bragged about how good this place is. Well he was right. I had a milkshake and it was perfect. The atmosphere was perfect. The store was clean. The outside was debris free and the tables were clean and well stocked with napkins.

Beren’s is my dessert happy place — their chocolate milkshake with Oreo is smooth bliss, and the chocolate concrete? A crunchy, creamy dream. Love that they offer samples 🥰bless them, and everything feels lighter than your usual sugar bomb spots. Bonus: no post-dessert regret like I get from other places. Always worth swinging by for a rotating special and a little frozen joy.

Wonderful little ice cream shop with very polite and courteous staff. The custard is amazing. I had the caramel pretzels concrete that was Devine.

Delicious velvety frozen custard. I ordered the brownie hot fudge sundae with vanilla custard. The brownie pieces tasted home made, loved it! Although I wish it had more hot fudge. My husband got classic vanilla and chocolate with m&ms.

If you've never been to Berens, your missing out! It's important to note, they make their ice cream fresh, daily, so they only carry three fresh flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate, and a flavor of the day. And while you can get other flavors that are packaged in pints in their fridge, you can't beat fresh custard! My family loves this place, and we will continue to visit for years to come.
