Bentonville Public Library

Front desk and children’s area staff are amazing. The lady in the makers space room working on 2/29/2026 at 7pm was so unwelcoming and uninformative with what items we can use. We asked for something as simple as crayons and she didn’t even care to stand up. It was my first time there and hated that experience for my kids. Please staff better people.

Cannot overstate how wonderful the Bentonville Public Library is! Lots of great programming for kids and adults, helpful librarians and staff, great book selection, and a lovely environment to hang out and read. There's even a little cafe inside! Support your local library!

I used to love this library. Though BPL has never offered a variety of books the staff were so helpful and kind and my child, who is now grown,and I would feel safe and welcome here. Since it expanded the staff ( aside from a couple) are not helpful and even rude ( and not in just follow the rules keep the peace way). It's almost as if they don't want people in there. In the last few months whenever I have asked for any assistance it is meant with a rude inconvenient sigh and a ' not my problem response. Maybe they are overworked now? An expensive and unfriendly place to be of you can find parking to get in. Hopefully, they return to being friendly . Worth the trip to Springdale and Rogers where the community focused kind librarians are.

Beautiful spacious library with a cafe! I really loved how there are multiple study deals with lamps and charging stations. There is also a literacy center that adds a nice touch to the library. I definitely plan to visit again whenever I’m in the area!
