Ben's Fast Food

Got dinner delivered from here last night. I ordered the chickpea and sweet potato hearty bowl with the lemon thyme dressing and the green smoothie. My partner and I got the same things but different dressing. We were impressed by the affordability and were thoroughly satisfied by the healthy “fast food” meal. It was delicious, fulfilling, and felt good to eat. The smoothie hit the spot, as I was craving something cold and fruity—it was not too sweet and not too leafy greens-leaning, either. Will definitely order again sometime!

So, this place has potential. I’ve had it several times and the quality is pretty consistent, the ingredients are fresh and the salad dressings healthy and yummy. This last time I got it, cucumber and veggies were mushy, not the best. My main issue is the portion. The chicken is hardly a couple bites, and even when I’ve paid for extra, I got no extra. This picture is of apparently extra chicken. I just wish they’d raise their prices to make the portions a normal size or actually give extra protein when I pay for it.

Got this place for a good quick takeout and wow it was so good! Good: - Price was so reasonable for how much we got - The hearty pork bowl was amazing - I liked the hot chili sauce and the classic sauce - it did add a lot - The delivery was very fast - It's a ghost kitchen so we could only do takeout and fast service Bad: - No real location Overall this delivery experience was really easy and I enjoyed the food a lot

I ordered the chicken mixed bowl. I’ve ordered bowls from multiple restaurants all over and I’d consider this one just OK. The broccoli and cauliflower are the tiniest pieces. No florettes more like chopped up stems. The chicken was tasty. However, it was a very small portion and I’m almost always complaining that I’m wasting food because it’s too much. I have a food scale at home and measured it out at 2.2 ounces. That’s a very small portion! I definitely could’ve used less millet and grains and more chicken. The lemon thyme sauce was tasty and there was plenty of it. Cucumbers and pickled onions were good. I paid $1.95 for fresh avocado. Some of it was brown and it was one quarter of an avocado. To be fair, this is pretty much the case anywhere when I order avocado but I’m always hoping

I ordered the hearty pork bowl and added some chicken and avocado and it really hit the spot! Also tried their green smoothie and it was delicious as well. I would highly recommend trying this if you’re looking for something fast, healthy, and delicious. Great with egg/dairy allergy too! Will definitely eat here again when I’m in San Francisco again- maybe even once more before I leave :-)
