Benihana - San Francisco

This was my 1st time ever at Benihana or trying a hibachi restaurant. We came here to celebrate my friends birthday party, there were 11 of us and the tables max out at 10 people but luckily they let us squeeze in together. The experience was all around amazing, the servers were so friendly, watching your food get cooked right infront of you is really interesting but the food was amazing! We spent around 2 hours here because there was 11 of us so the cook had a big order. The cook was a lil awkward and not so enthusiastic at 1st, but just seemed like he was having a bad day, after some small talk everyone warmed up and the entire table was laughing. Definitely recommend this place, especially because its attached to the Japantown mall, lots to do after you eat!

Everyone should experience Benihana atmosphere... It is very joyful place, especially if you need to celebrate an event or just want to spend some quality time with the family and friends. Food and services are great.

We had a fantastic dinner! The staff were friendly and very attentive. Our Chef was not only entertaining but the food was cooked to perfection. We would definitely go back and recommend it to our friends and family. Worth every penny 👌

Classic teppanyaki experience. Server was slow in delivering drinks and missed on beverage. Food quality is good and portions are generous - no one should go home hungry. The show is what makes all worth it. Great for family special occasions.

Come here for the entertainment from the chefs. Absolute stars of the restaurant. Food highlight was the chicken fried rice and wagyu beef. Everything else was oversalted or just weird. On the pricey side of things for the quality of food, but you're paying for the show. If you come with a group of 8 you get the whole table to yourself.
