We are from out of town visiting family. We have stopped by each day for the amazing SPK sandwiches! However, the owners are the real gems!

We went to Benedetto’s in west Islip all the way from Lindenhurst because we found their awesome catering deals through Facebook. I was nervous because we had never tried them, but I shouldn’t have been because the food was incredible!! The pizza was delicious and the trays were packed to the top with food. Everyone at our party commented on how good everything was - even the snobs and the picky eaters! lol! We also appreciate their first responder discount ❤️💙🤍 I’d recommend them to anyone in the area, especially for parties.

Tried this place few times and mostly had good experiences. Solid pizza joint. Highly recommend theirs grandma slice. Probably one of the better ones in the area. Definitely will be back for more. Their cheese and Sicilian slices are really good too. Had few of their heroes and corestti was really good. The godfather not so much; below average Italian hero, needed more seasoning or some oil and vinegar. We also ordered their buffalo chicken pie and were disappointed. Again chicken was under seasoned and needed flavor. Could not taste any buffalo sauce or blue cheese (had to add my own and jalapenos)
