Benchmark Restaurant

Patrick made our night absolutely unforgettable! He was very knowledgeable about the menu, very kind, and was very good with understanding social cues; when to approach the table and when to give us time. Absolutely amazing food as well. Patrick talked so well about the food and gave us great recommendations we followed happily. The appetizer was perfect. Bacon was glazed in a sweet maple syrup. Beautiful setting. Thank you Patrick.

We had the tomahawk steak, ravioli and asparagus. Food was fantastic and our server Riley was pleasant and very prompt. I do feel bad about having to ask her to have the manager Rikki keep the noise down from which she was having way too long a personal conversation with staff. That was the only reason for a 3 star on the atmosphere. Would've been nice if she had apologized....but I doubt that would ever happen in these times.

Benchmark – Perrysburg, Ohio The evening began with the Pretty in Pink mocktail. Pineapple, grenadine, grapefruit, and faba combined for something fresh, bright, and lightly creamy. It felt indulgent yet balanced, the kind of drink that wakes up your palate without being too sweet. Next came Beech Please! with pineapple, orange, lime, orgeat, and grenadine. Carly our server was excellent. She explained the menu and was very friendly and prompt. I ordered the 20oz bone in strip,medium. It came rare. Like fresh off the farm rare. Carli sent it back and was very apologetic, it happens. Steak came back 2 minutes later with absolutely no difference. Still extremely rare. Very disappointing. Just packed it up and gave it to our dogs when we got home. The grits with syrup and bacon and coconut shrimp were very good. Carly and the rest of the servers were great the wannabe chefs have a lot of learning to do.

We had another great experience at Benchmark! My husband and I went there for dinner for our anniversary. I recommend making a reservation or going right when they open to insure you get a table. And although there is a lot of parking available around the restaurant, it fills up fast. The service at Benchmark is by far the best compared to any other restaurant I've ever been to! The servers are not only friendly and knowledgeable, but seem to truly want the customer to have an amazing experience. We have visited Benchmark many times, probably at least 10, and we have never had poor service. Never! Also, the food is excellent!
