Benchitos Mexican Food

Benchitos Mexican Food is easily the best Mexican spots in Salt Lake City. From the food to the service. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I promise you could not get this anywhere else

Have been a Benchitos customer for a few months, I always get the machaca breakfast burrito or the crazy burrito. Both are perfect w flavor and super filing. I wanted to try their shrimp and fish tacos . I went with the fish and they are a decent size. The fish is cooked nicely , lightly dressed with lettuce and Pico. I got 2 and was a good portion for lunch. Now I need to try their shrimp tacos !

I'm not from Mexico. I've never been to Mexico. I can't comment on how authentic the food is, but this is the best Mexican food I have had. Really delicious! I had the Steak Ranchero breakfast plate. Easily the best refried beans I've had. Perfect rice. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the steak and veg were perfect as well.

Amazing food, great customer service, clean restaurant. Did I just find the holy grail hole in the wall best Mexican Restaurant? I think so. Had the Smothered Chile Verde Burrito with rice and beans, which was recommended by the front cashier Selvin. Was my first time here and had a great experience. Plan on ordering from here instead of other places like Rancherito's, Beto's, etc. Shout out to Selvin too, dude was super nice, checking up on everyone in to see if they needed anything, and always on the move making sure the place was clean, as well as popping in the back to help.

Great new Mexican spot on State Street with a fresh taste and fast, friendly service! Menu reminds me of Rancherito’s without the long drive thru lines. The carne asada fries and burrito were both delicious and full of flavor. Convenient location, clean, and worth stopping by anytime you’re craving good Mexican food!
