Ben & Jerry’s

I’m writing this review about a custom cake we ordered here for my child. We provided a photo of a cake we purchased last year from the Harvard Square Ben & Jerry’s as a reference. Unfortunately, the cake we received looked amateurish at best and was very disappointing. My daughter had been looking forward to it and specifically asked for the same design because she loved it so much last year. She was in tears when she saw the cake we received. The small 6” cake is also in a large 10” cake box so it’s taking up so much room in the freezer! The very reason we got a smaller cake! I know not to get a cake here again!

Marshmallow Sky and Chocolate Therapy in a chocolate-dipped waffle cone :-). The ice cream was delicious and the service was super friendly and fast. The cone didn’t taste fresh though (was a little hard. I almost couldn’t bite it but I have a medical condition and am more fragile. It’s just that I’m pretty sure it wasn’t made today because that doesn’t normally happen to me). I didn’t realize it was hurting my teeth until I’d eaten most of it so next time I would return the cone part and ask for a fresher one. I’m sure someone without my condition would have enjoyed the cone. Fully accessible and parking and handicapped parking right next door.

Ben and Jerry's ice cream always sets a good standard for the sweet treats, but the staff here were the stars on our visit. They were patient and kind. Helped out when the toddler dropped a cone on the ground. Seemed busy but didn't rush us. Environment is upbeat with dancing music. Have been before, will come again. Was a great spot to visit, esp with the kiddo.

The atmosphere of this specific location is just perfect! Truly makes the whole experience that much sweeter. The staff is helpful and patient, even giving recommendations and giving me the time i needed to decide.

I went to get a quart of ice cream and paid 16 bucks plus 3 bucks for tip. The container has so much space left empty. Usually, they fill up the quart container but this time the ice cream was not packed. 16 bucks for a quart that is 1/4 empty. Update 9/14: Jason and Eva were extremely kind and helpful and gave us a pint of ice cream for free along with three cone coupons. Mistakes happen but I am very extremely happy and impressed with how the managers addressed this issue and immediately took action. Thank you!
