I visited Bella Cafe recently and had a genuinely lovely experience. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming, making it a great spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. The interior is tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and soft music that doesn’t overpower conversation. I ordered a cappuccino and a croissant, and both exceeded my expectations. The coffee was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, clearly made with quality beans. The croissant was fresh, flaky, and buttery, tasting like it came straight from a bakery. My favorite union Square lunch place. Bella Café is such a hidden gem! The La Traviata sandwich is insanely good; fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. The Italian pastries and desserts all look amazing (and taste just as good!). Super dog-friendly spot with the nicest, most welcoming family-run team. You can really feel the love here.

My friend and I discovered this charming cafe a few days ago. It is tucked away in a little corridor which adds to its charm. Today I went and ordered an americano. They even brought me a personal container of oat milk. I ordered a sandwich with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil, and it was wonderful. One of the young men who was working came and poured me a glass of water at my table, and left a pitcher if I needed more. This is an authentic Italian cafe. The owner walked me through the different sandwich options and explained things to me. Everyone I spoke to was so kind, helpful, and friendly. I loved the coziness and authenticity of this cafe. A true gem!!

Bella Café is an absolute gem in San Francisco! I stopped in for a coffee and was blown away by how good everything was. The Illy coffee is excellent—smooth, rich, and perfectly made. My cappuccino was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. I also tried their antipasto plate, and it was outstanding. Freshly sliced meats rolled and plated beautifully with roasted peppers, olives, grapes, basil, and shaved Parmesan. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, like something you’d get in a little Italian café. The dessert case is a showstopper. Each pastry looks like it belongs in a bakery window in Europe. Italians who run this place & know coffee traditions. I wish they played classical or Italian music instead of 1980’s soft rock headache music that we hear all day everyday. Great spot nice people & illy cafe
