Customer Reviews
I only got the credit card receipt and no bill. So I had no idea I tipped 20% on top of the mandatory 18%. A single draft goose Island IPA and an Amaretto Sour were $53 ($44 base). Not the best deal, but when you're thirsty. I did get 2 cups of water for the kids and they were playing an interesting b movie called Cocaine Bear over the bar.
The only actual Belgian beer is Stella which is an insult to all great Belgian beers this planet has to offer. I made a list of classic Belgian Beers I advice you to at least add to your menu, ofcourse many more are available. See picture attached, left you this note and I sincerely hope you start serving actual Belgian beers or you better change the name of this place.
The bar LOOKS like a Belgian bar. If only the beers followed. It has one actual Belgian beer, Stella Artois, and Blue Moon which professes to be a Belgian style. That being said, I liked the chill ambience and the service. No issues there. The Information desk didn't even know it existed, but it's a nice quiet oasis in the middle of a busy, noisy, airport. Bottom line, go there but just don't expect Leffe, Duvel, etc.
Good if you like Stella. It's about £8 a pint. (That's around $10). Tables free but bartender was pretty busy. Nice service though. Would go again if I want a pint before a flight.
Got a beer for me and another traveler. Was charged 18% service fee on top of $13 per beverage before tip was requested. Glad I didn't order the chips. I would have had to ask for a loan.
